The consumption of weed to feel ‘High’ has become quite common these days. There are many ways through which people consume weed but the most common among them is by Smoking it. Inhaling marijuana by making joints, blunts, hookahs, bongs, and bubblers are quite common ways of consuming it. While joints are just like cigarettes made at home using marijuana, Blunts are cigars filled with the same. Bongs are generally hollow glass-water pipes whereas bubblers are just a mini-version of them. There are various kinds of bubblers available on the market such as Hammer bubblers, side-car bubblers, glass bubblers, Sherlock bubblers, and percolator bubblers, to name a few. When the smoker wants to get cool and smooth smoke, he prefers ‘percolator bubblers’.
What are Percolator Bubblers?
Also known as ‘Perc’ and water pipes, these are the types of bubblers that the person might prefer using if he/she wants to have a smoke that feels smoother and cooler than when using the other types. This type diffuses the smoke making the smoking process smoother and easier. There are, again, a lot of options available in this type of bubbler having their pros and cons. They are as follows:-
- Tree Percolator
Shaped just like a tree, it has one tree limb which is at the top through which several rods are connected. The air while passing from the main limb and settling at the base, diffuses the bubbles and offers filtration to the maximum level.
- Honeycomb Percolator
It has a shape similar to its name- a flat disk with several holes in it. These are, most of the time, found in bongs with straight tubes. The studded flat disks one above the other create a chamber-like structure, helping in smoothly passing the smoke.
- Showerhead Percolator
One of the most famous choices, there are somewhat similar to the shape of a showerhead having holes and slits along with the percolator placed on the bong on its neck.
- Turbine Percolator
This type of percolator has glass slabs with edges that have slits in them. For its proper functioning, these are combined with honeycomb percolators.
- Diffused Down-stem Percolator
This type has many slits in the bottom part of the instrument which helps in the purpose of passage of air smoothly to the base.
- Inline Percolator
In this type, there are multiple slits present on the horizontal tube. The location of it is present at the bottom of the bong. More the number of slits, the better the percolation.
- Fritted Percolator
The structure of this type of percolator is such that flat disc-like layers are present in the tube bong that are straight in shape. This creates chambers in it which helps in the smooth passage of air through it.
Thus, these are the different types of Percolator Bubblers and people can choose among these according to their needs and suitability.
